Overview
Ultrafast time-resolved spectroscopy is an advanced powerful tool used for investigation of the dynamical processes in various interdisciplinary aspects covering physics, chemistry and biology. We developed and employed these tools to elucidate the detailed mechanism for light conversion in different systems spanning from natural photosynthesis to the artificial systems such as solar cell, photocatalysis and organic/inorganic semiconductor devices, where the dynamical process for coherent and non-coherent energy transfer, charge separation,  electron and hole transfer or migration are investigated. Furthermore, the protein dynamical structure related to its biological functions, are also inspected with the transient spectroscopy.
